Hello Friend - you have arrived at the home page of the 'veteran' folk-singer Jacqui McDonald - whether by accident or design!!! who, for a long time, was one half of the well-known duo, 'Jacqui and Bridie', and who is now a solo performer in her own right, with many CDs and Book available.

In 1964 Jacqui, with Bridie, formed the first full-time British female folk-song duo. Their names, Jacqueline McDonald and Bridie O'Donnell, were soon shortened to 'Jackie and Bridie', and later to 'Jacqui and Bridie'.
